Dhawal is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a certified general management professional from Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad with close to 10 years of experience in business finance roles with leading Indian and Multinational Corporations.
Adept in understanding business needs with ability to liaise across various levels of management. He has diverse experience across sectors like Software, Oil & Gas, Outsourced Shared Services, Advertising and PR.

1. What is the duration of the Program?
Overall duration of the program is 100 hours over 6 months. 50 Hours of Live online sessions. and 50 hours of pre readings / recordings / assignments.
2. How much time will i need to set aside to ensure full participation in the program?
You will require to dedicate 4-5 hours a week including 2 hours of live sessions over the six months (May 2024 to Nov 2024)
3. When will the live sessions be delivered?
The live sessions will be delivered every Saturdays between 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm IST
4. What if I miss a live session?
If you miss a live session you can catchup with the recordings. Recordings will be shared within 24 hours of the live session.
5. Can I set-off the fee I paid for masterclass?
Yes, Option 1: Use the code "MASTERCLASS200" to claim a $200 discount on the total or installment payments
Option 2: Request for a custom code to off set the amount you paid for the masterclass. This is applicable for one time payment (not on installments payment)
6. Is there an overlap between FP&A Masterclass, Launchpad and Certification? How is CGFPA different from the FP&A Masterclass or Launchpad?
The certification builds on the FP&A Masterclass/ 8 weeks FP&A Launchpad with New modules (Business Strategy, Financial Modeling, Financial Analysis, Intro to Data Tools like SQL, Power BI, and more)
For the modules that are part of Masterclass (Budgeting, Forecasting, Management Reporting, Data Storytelling, Business Partnering) we dive into advanced practice examples and case studies. For those who have not taken the Masterclass will have to go through the 8-Weeks FP&A Launchpad to qualify for enrollment for CGFPA.
7. What's the Fee for the CGFPA Certification?
The fee is $1495 for non alumni and $1295/- for FP&A Professionals Institute (FPI) Alumni
8. Is there a Payment Plan available?
Yes,
- For Non Alumni: 5 monthly payments of $ 299/mo
- For FPI Alumni: 5 monthly payments of $ 259/mo (Discount of $200 $40X5). Use code "MASTERCLASS200" to claim the benefit.
9. What if I miss the Live Sessions? Will I lose out on certification?
You have to attend 50% sessions Live. If you miss any sessions you can revisit the recording and catch up. If your attendance is less than 50% in live sessions we will ask you to make it up in the next cohort (without any additional fee for up to 1 year)
10. How will CGFPA benefit my career?
It will solidify your expertise and confidence in handling complex projects, making you a stronger asset to your team. You will be able to contribute to strategic decision-making, improve budget processes, forecast accuracy, craft management reports and more... 11. For How long is the certification valid? Do I need to do any CPE courses to maintain the Certification every year ?
The CGFPA certification is valid for lifetime once you meet the criteria and pass the exam. There are no CPE requirements to maintain the certification. However we may add optional CPE courses for you to upskill in future.
12. Is CGFPA an objective or descriptive exam?
CGFPA exam is a Multiple Choice Questions MCQ based exam. It is for 100 marks with 180 minutes time frame.
13. When will the CGFPA exams be conducted?
CGFPA exams are conducted 4 times a year once every 3 months.
14. What's the passing Score?
You need to obtain at least 50% to pass the final exam. If you miss/fail an exam you can reappear in the next window by paying a nominal fee of $100 to cover the exam proctoring cost.
15. Do you have a reimbursement template for CGFPA that we can use to seek approval from HR?
