Cancellation, Refund, and Deferment Policy

1. Cancellation by Participant

Participants may cancel their registration for a course up to 15 days prior to the start date of the course to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 15 days but no later than 7 days before the course start date will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.

No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 before the course start date or for no-shows.

 

2. Deferment:

  • Participants who are unable to attend the scheduled course may request to defer their registration to a future session of the same course.
  • Deferral requests must be made in writing at least 7 days before the course start date.
  • ·Participants are allowed to defer once without any penalty. Subsequent deferrals may incur a fee of $100.
  • Deferred registration must be used within 12 months from the original course date. If not utilized within this period, the registration fee will be forfeited.

 

3.Cancellation by FP&A Professional Institute (FPI)

FPI reserves the right to cancel a course due to insufficient enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund of the registration fee will be provided.

4. Substitutions:

If a participant is unable to attend the course, they may transfer their registration to another individual from the same organization. The request for substitution must be made in writing at least 7 days before the course start date.

5. Rescheduling:

Participants who wish to reschedule their registration to a future session of the same course may do so if they notify the provider at least 7 days before the course start date. A rescheduling fee of $100 may apply.

 

6. Refund Process:

Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the cancellation request. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during registration.

 

7. Appeals:

Participants may appeal against the application of the cancellation or deferment policy by submitting a written request outlining the reasons for the appeal. Appeals must be submitted within 7 days of the cancellation or the missed course date. Appeals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

9. Non-Refundable Fees:

Any materials, shipping, or registration fees are non-refundable.

10. Exceptions:

Exceptions to this policy may be made in the case of extenuating circumstances such as medical emergencies or natural disasters. Such requests must be submitted in writing and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
